| It’s the early forties and Travis Redmond, aka Memphis Red, is in love with his boss's girlfriend, scheming to con money from the mob and trying to stay under the FBI's radar. He fights these battles on the streets of New York in the midst of its shady nightlife and the driving rhythms of the city. He is a graduate of North Carolina Central University and Meharry Medical College and currently lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife and children.
