Myrtle is still learning the ropes as a homeless person with the help of her new friend, Gladys. They barely manage to find enough to eat and their odds of surviving the winter are not good until they unexpectedly meet someone who offers a ray of hope. When he invites Myrtle and her friend into his home, where he lives with two other formerly homeless men, Myrtle begins discovering the words “home” and “family” can have many different meanings.

I really had forgotten to listen to "Homeless," so when I drove to Nashville last Thursday to celebrate my birthday with my son and his family, I listened to it.  I loved it.  I think it is the best thing you have written.  I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it, and that it added a lot to making my birthday a happy one.

We just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed listening to your audio book “Homeless.” It was extremely well written and evoked a host of emotions from the listener. Mark & I both agreed it would make a great “Hallmark” TV program.
We smiled when Jack rubbed his hands on the well-made bedroom furniture & were reminded of Cal’s excellent carpentry skills. I have listened to it twice and thoroughly enjoyed it each time.
Keep up the excellent work.
Peace and blessings

Wonderful story!  The characters came alive and I had a mind picture of each one - well written.  It was read clearly and I thoroughly enjoyed listening; was sad when it ended.

I live 32 miles from Kalispell and I listened to Homeless while driving to and from my writers' club last night. I enjoyed your story very much. I found listening to books while driving is a good way to shorten the trip. Due to my hearing I gave up on tapes years ago, but Homeless was sharp and clear, so I will try more CDs now.
